- Tash is one of the main antagonists of The Chronicles of Narnia series. He is the demonic God of Calormen, an empire in the south of Narnia, and the rival of Aslan, the Great Lion that is worshipped by Narnians. He is considered to be the Patron of Calormen, to which great temples were built and his worshippers offered human sacrifices. Tash, like Aslan, has his own country, likely a hellish place, where the Evil Narnians and those that opposed Aslan went after their deaths.

- Tash was a prowlgrin raised by Quint during his training as a squire in the Knights Academy. Quint named him "Tash" because of his distinctive tuft of hair. Naming his prowlgrin was a violation of Knights Academy regulations, which stated that prowlgrins may only be named by Knights Academic-in-waiting, and they may only be given names ending with -ix. Screedius Tollinix reprimanded Quint when he caught him calling Tash by name.

- Tash was the demonic chief deity of the national religion of Calormen and was depicted as having many arms and bird-like. He was, in particular, the patron deity of the ruling class - the Calormene capital was named Tashbaan, and the Tisrocs, Tarkaans and Tarkheenas claimed to be descended from Tash. The worship of Tash was the only formal religion depicted in the World of Narnia. There were temples to Tash: he was the only being referred to by characters as a god by the Calormenes. They overlooked the fact that Tash is a bloodthirsty demon and an embodiment of all that is vile.
