Peter Watts appeared on Coronation Street in November 1997 as car salesman Mr Seymour, who allowed Jon Lindsay to test-drive a Saab worth £26,000 when Jon led him to believe he was an airline pilot. He returned in March of the following year to give evidence of that fact at the trial of Deirdre Rachid and Jon Lindsay at Weatherfield County Court. His other credits include roles in Bergerac, The Bill, Silent Witness, Children's Ward, Doctors, Casualty, New Tricks, Spooks and the 1990 film Dancin' Thru the Dark. On stage he has appeared in productions of An Enemy of the People and Richard III.
