| - Ryan (panicked): “W-what happened to me? Where’s Delphox? Is she okay?” Korrina: Delphox is fine. She’s with Nurse Joy at the moment. Gurkinn: How are you? Quilladin has been worried sick, the same as us. Ryan: “Mostly okay, aside from a throbbing headache.” Korrina: Here. Korrina: Even though you didn’t beat Mienfoo, you showed great courage. So take it. You battled ellegantly. Ryan: “Never thought I’d hear that word used to describe me.” Gurkinn: You need to rest a bit more. Korrina: Though, you could see Delphox if you want from Nurse Joy. Ryan: “Yeah, I’ll see her.” Ryan: “My glasses!” Ryan: “Whew.” Ryan: “Is Delphox going to be okay?” Ryan: “Delphox is gonna be fine. So am I.” Korrina: Ryan? Ryan: “It’s just….I saved Delphox from a horrible trainer. And then to do this to her….“ Ryan (raising his head): “And I’m scared I’m going to lose her! I know Nurse Joy said she was going to be fine, but I’m still scared. It could still happen!” Korrina: Surely there is someone you can talk to about this. Ryan: “Of course! I’m such an idiot!” Sycamore (On video): Ryan, what a surprise. How can I help you? Ryan: “Well, I just wanted to give you an update. I challenged Korrina to a rematch today, and Delphox turned into Ryan-Delphox.” Ryan: “Professor, I’m not sure I like using Ryan-Delphox very much. It’s one thing to have a good bond with a Pokemon, but with something like this…" Ryan: “I’m scared of the possibility the instability of our bond is eventually going to kill one, or both, of us.” Sycamore: I see. So, this is the first time this has happened? Do you know how it happened? Ryan: “Well, it’s not the first time for Delphox. When she was with my mirror counterpart, she seemed to be able to change back and forth pretty easily. Anyway, with me, there’s this orb of dense fire that surrounds her.” Sycamore: This is a similar case that I’ve heard from Nate. It seems Delphox is only beginning to trust you and your bond becomes one when this trust and emotion runs high. Well, that is just a theory. Ryan: “When you say “Nate”, are you talking about Jon and Jon-Typhlosion? Jon didn’t explicitly say Typhlosion and he could perform the move, but it was kind of implied by his friend Maria.” Nate (On Video): Hey Ryan. Sycamore (On video): Ryan just said he had performed Ryan-Delphox. Nate: Can you tell me what happened? Ryan: “Delphox...well, the only word I can think of that’d fit is ‘exploded’. Anyway, she ‘exploded’ into flame, and it formed an orb around her. It was kind of hard to see, but I was certain she had gained features similar to my hair and hat.” Ryan: “It’s pretty much what I figure happens to Typhlosion, but obviously with a different Pokemon and Trainer combination.” Nate: So, you having the same transformation as Jon. Although, the last time he used it, the power was too great and he, along with Typhlosion, both fainted under the amount of power. Well, that is what I am guessing. How did you feel when in the Ryan-Delphox form? Ryan: “I don’t know.....Delphox’s power was insanely boosted up though. After we won the battle against Mega Lucario-.” Sycamore: --You beat a Mega Pokemon? Impressive. Ryan: “Anyway, I think the bond stressed our bodies out too much, and we both passed out. Korrina and her grandfather had to bring us here.” Ryan: “That’s the long and short of it. Delphox is getting healed right now.” Sycamore: Okay, well make sure you take it easy. There is so much uncertainty to it. Nate: Not even Jon has much understanding on it. But like the professor said. Take it easy Ryan. Ryan: “I will. See you later.” Ryan: “Quilladin, can you stay and wait for Delphox? I need fresh air.” Pokedex: “Spoink, the Psychic Type Bounce Pokemon. Spoink can’t afford to stop bouncing, as a Spoink’s heart apparently stops if they do.” Ryan: “Wow...that’s awful!” Ryan: “Um...hi Spoink.” Spoink: Spoink, Spoink Ink. Ryan: “You seem content.” Ryan: “You want an Oran Berry Spoink? I’ve got loads.” Ryan: “Guess you were hungry.” Ryan: “Sorry Spoink, I’m going to have to go. I’ve got my Quilladin waiting for me, and I don’t like to be late for things.” Ryan: “You were nice company though. Bye Sponik.” Ryan: “You two ready to go? Next up on the gym battle list is…” Ryan: “Ah yes, Lumiose City, and Clembot.” Ryan (to Spoink): “We’re going to Lumiose City! I’ll see if I can come to visit you sometime! See you later Spoink!” Ryan: “Lumiose Gym will have closed by now. We’re going to have to stay in the Pokemon Center.” Ryan: “Hello again. I’ve come to a decision about the condition I made about you traveling with me. I’m going to free you tomorrow. You can go back to your family.” Lapras (Sad): Pras. Lapras. Ryan: “I know. But I stand by what I said then. I’m not taking you from your loved ones. Not now, not ever.” Ryan: “Can I make one last request Lapras?” Ryan: “I’d like to draw you. It’ll give me something to remember you by when...you know. I free you.” Ryan (to Lapras): “I’ve finished it.” Ryan: “What do you think?” Lapras (Happy): Pras! Ryan: “So...I guess...we’re gonna have to say goodbye soon.” Ryan: “You won’t forget me, right?” Ryan: “I won’t forget you either.” Ryan (Voice shaky): “Lapras….return.” Narrator: After recovering from the gym battle against Korrina, Ryan headed towards Lumiose City, to face Clembot. However, the gym was closed. Ryan had some time with Lapras before he releases her. Now, Ryan’s next gym battle is on its way. What will be the outcome? Find out soon.
