Three Cornered Heart was a famous poem which told the story of Isawa Guragu, writer of the Origami Crane of Good Fortune, a Crane maiden who had captured his heart, and the bushi of the Crab Clan to whom she instead gave her affections. In the end, all three died in a series of tragic events. The irony was the unlucky events which befell all three would never had happened if she would only been carrying the Origami Crane wilh her.
