Chaos Rider is a Soul of Rebirth enemy in Final Fantasy II. It is a palette swap of the Royal Guard enemy that behaves more like a Death Rider. They are highly dangerous enemies, as they can inflict multiple statuses as well as inflict a huge amount of damage with their physicals as well as absorbing said damage for themselves. To make matters worse, the enemies have high defenses, making them harder to kill, as well as travel in groups of 2-4, sometimes with a Gold Golem. It is only recommended to fight them if the player is high leveled and has high leveled Holy, Flare, or Ultima spells (preferably level 8 or higher). Equipping a Ribbon on each party member helps drastically in dealing with their spells. While being difficult enemies, they do drop valuable equipment such as Dragon Armors
