- Mortis was a planet, presumably in the outer rim or unknown regions. It was inhabited by a mysterious, powerful family of force users known the Father, Son and Daughter. It was visited by Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka was later captured by the Son and was temporarily possessed by his dark influence, where she was pitched against her master in combat. Obi-Wan found himself in a crystalline cave confronting the force ghost of his old master Qui-Gon Jinn. Anakin was sent through several tests from the Father, who found himself attempting to act peacekeeper in the rising tensions between his children.

- Born Lois Brown, Lois London is the younger, half-sister of the mutant disco queen, Dazzler . She was born to Alison's mother, Katherine Blaire, and her lover, Nicholas Brown. At a young age Lois watched her father beat her mother, and her mother spiral into drug addiction. Eventually, Katherine sobered up and took Lois with her as she fled her abusive lover. Katherine took on a new identity, Barbara London, and changed Lois' surname as well. Lois grew up with Barbara as a normal teenager, and studied at State University. Lois, a big Dazzler fan, never knew Alison Blaire was her own half-sister as Barbara was too ashamed to discuss her sordid past.
- Mortis is the fourth, most trusted, and most evil of the Lophian Sons of the Angler Lord. He dwells deep in the mines of Isla Tormenta, below the Cursed Caverns. He is not to be underestimated.
- Two hundred years before the start of the story, Mortis of Balthor attempted to take over the Arrowhead Archipelago, but his armies were defeated by a coalition lead by the hero Khalamyn. Mortis himself faced Khalamyn one-to-one and fell under his magical Ivory Spear, the very same second Khalamyn fell, struck by a bolt of dark energy. Nowadays, Mortis returned as an undead lich when a graverobber foolishly took the spear from his vault. He takes over Bloodrise Keep and swarms Stayng Island with his undeads, even resurrecting his wife Lady Lotmora as a vampire, and strikes an alliance with the Chaos Pirates. However, he is defeated once and for all by a hero remembered as the Chosen of Lhyss.

Some reasons why include the following: He had to force Beau to choose the Dragon Booster, he had to leave his son Artha Penn to develop some responsibility on his own but keep an eye on him at the same time, or that he was hiding from Word Paynn/Drakkus. Mortis appears in Episode 2: The Choosing, Part 2 and was in almost every episode up until Episode 26: The Return of Drakkus, Part 2 when he was revealed as Connor Penn.

He wrote about Mortis while studying the Prophecy of the Chosen One in his science journal prior to his murder by his apprenctice, Darth Sidious.[4]
- The Discipline Mortis is rooted in the control and manipulation of death. More specifically, Mortis is a form of blood magic dealing with corpses and their conditions after death. The Cappadocian clan are the only kindred to possess the natural affinities for this Discipline. It is said to have been given to the clan Elders by Cappadocius himself. The Lamia bloodline of Cappadocians have their own proprietary path of Mortis called the Path of Four Humours, while the recently-Embraced Giovanni family has brought their own paths, Nigrimancy and the Path of Haunting.

(Darth Saruman possibly lived there as well.)

Despite being one of the most expensive robots to compete on the show, it had a mixed run of success, reaching the Semi-Finals of Series 2, but only reaching the Heat Final in Series 1 and 4 and losing in the second round of Series 3 to Gravedigger. However, it won the Series 4 War of Independence after soundly defeating US representatives FrenZy in the final.
