Initial Notes About The Mix: M is another one of those artists that people know his one hit (Pop Muzik), but nothing else, which is really too bad, as he was excellent. He's got a voice sort of like Gary Numan's, although toggle out the alienation and autism for cynicism and paranoia. I adore The Official Secrets Act -- it's one of those Lost Classics, and New York London Paris Munich is pretty good, too, really. I couldn't get into Famous Last Words nearly as well, but it's definitely got its moments. There's a few early pre-M cuts from Life Class on here, too.
