| - Allows a Jedi to disrupt the operation of isolated electronics by generating or manipulating fields of electronic noise. This can cause anything from the scrambling or jamming of transmissions to full technical shutdown of devices. Since most electronics devices are built with shielding or programming in place to protect from general electronic interference, it requires constant effort by the Jedi to maintain a temporary disruption (The power must remain 'up'). At low levels (Average/Good Alter roll), this discipline can temporarily create mild static in audio or visual transmissions, or mildly scramble data being processed by computer systems, or things of a similar nature. These effects are annoying and may reduce the quality of the output of the affected system, but will not cause a complete disruption in that system's ability to function. With proficient use (Excellent Alter roll), moderate to extreme static or scrambling of data can all but render the device inoperable for the duration of the power remaining up. Such disruptions are noticable by security or monitoring systems in charge of the affected equipment, and may draw attention in the form of technical or security personnel dispatched to investigate. With extreme proficiency (Heroic or Godlike roll), the disabling effects of the electronic noise may linger for 10 minutes after the Jedi has dropped use of the power. The device would be down the first full five minutes, then the disruptions would drop one level of difficulty every 2.5 minutes until full operation has been restored. At this level of ability, the Jedi might also choose to render targeted equipment physically inoperative through a blown fuse or circuit board, leaving it fully disabled until someone physically repairs it through replacing the broken parts. In order for this power to work, the Jedi has to be within 6 meters of the devices and either have direct line of sight (only works on single targets or targets in close visual proximity) or possess the Electronic sense ability (required for multiple targets). Add one level of difficulty per every additional 2-3 targets being affected (Maximum being 10 at Heroic, 15 at Godlike).
