The Daleks are a mysterious race of aliens bent on exterminating every non-Dalek being in the universe. As such, they are not akin to blasting apart every atom in the multiverse to achieve this goal. Once, they tried to destroy the multiverse with a reality bomb. This plan failed thanks to Blackout, Kakamu, Zev Raregroove, Malygos, BoM_Master, Artrix and TMV. Then they returned and tried to attack Atlantis. During the Uterio War, the Daleks sided with Uterio Di Armechio. One of their kind served as a prison guard, and many more defended Mordor when the Rebels invaded it.

  • In England, we had this hilariously crap TV show called Dr. Who where this bloke in a scarf went time traveling. His archenemies were these senselessly violent creatures (no, not Angus surprisingly). They were called daleks. They're a form of robots. They had weird mechanical voices and a sort of gun sticking out of their head bits. They said, "Exterminate, exterminate!" Well, I told you it was crap.
  • Robert Shearman's Dalek Abscence of Mystery is the best episode of series 1, and probably all of fiction. It marks the return of the Daleks to Doctor Who, and features one of the best Eccleston moments in the series. It also introduces potential companion Adam Mitchell, who has a predictably messy end.
  • Edit by someone else: Seriously who wrote this. You're funny, but... What the fuck?
  • The PPC is not averse to including Daleks in its ranks, but all Daleks recruited must be given the Human Factor.
  • the Daleks are a race of evil creatures in the campy sci-fi classic, Dr. Who. they are campy, pictured as Trashcans with meta skirts, underneath the metal shell, they are green blobs.

  • The Dalek race was the result of two different sources of engineering innovation: the laboratory of the disabled Kaled scientist Davros, and the corporation simply known as Skaro Condiments.

Hun mechanisch omhulsel bevat onder andere een op een telescoop lijkende staaf die dient voor het zicht van de daleks, een lasergun en een soort van metalen 'arm' waarmee de daleks o.a. knoppen mee in kunnen drukken. • The Daleks are a species of genetically altered Kaleds from the planet Skaro, and are among the oldest and most dangerous enemies of the Time Lords - particularly the rogue one known as The Doctor - and most other civilizations. Their hard-wired and strongest drive is to wipe out or "exterminate" all lifeforms that are not Dalek, as they believe that it is their rightful destiny to reign supreme.
  • The Daleks are an evil race of mutants from the planet Skaro that are known to be the greatest adversaries of the Time Lords. They have made many attempts to conqure the universe in the name of the Dalek Empire. The Daleks are also one of the most advanced races in the universe, and the most hated and feared.
  • The Daleks fought the Time Lords in the Last Great Time War, ending in the near-total destruction of the Dalek race. (TV: Dalek, The Day of the Doctor) Intensely xenophobic and bent on universal domination, the Daleks were hated and feared throughout time and space.

  • Clinger and Latchgrip disguised themselves as Daleks to fool Infinity for Halloween in 2011. Clinger's travel machine is red, and has a built-in translator, making it seem as if he is speaking (albeit with an electronic staccato voice) even during his usual babbling. Latchgrip's travel machine is slightly smaller and orange. His machine has adjustable speakers with two settings. The first setting is the default, while the second setting allows him to be heard in his normal voice.
  • The Daleks--one of two main lifeforms from the planet Skaro--are the result of some very frightening experiments done by a considerably "mad scientist." Highly intelligent but highly unstable at the same time, the creator of these evil beings realized that the wild and sometimes volatile nature of his creations could be problematic if not dealt with speedily, and therefore had the Dalek creatures encased in special mobile armor suits that act as both a vehicle and battle machine for the creatures. They are armed with a laser ray, an arm with a plunger at its end and can only see through a long stalk in the middle of their heads. Also, since Daleks are part machine, they talk like a robot talks. Their battle cry is "EXTERMINATE!"
  • The Daleks are a fictional extraterrestrial race from the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. They originated from a humanoid race known as the Kaleds, which suffered prolonged exposure to radiation following a thousand-year war with their neighbours the Thals, devastating their homeworld of Skaro. Many Kaleds began mutating due to this exposure, and the Kaled scientist Davros experimented with the mutants and determined the final form they would eventually take. The end result was a highly intelligent yet diminuitive and grotesque creature, incapable of surviving on its own. Davros then built special machines for the mutants: pepperpot-shaped, armoured robotic shells that would sustain the mutants and allow them to travel. And thus, the Daleks were born.

  • The Gold Dalek was supreme commander of all Earth forces. It is used in stead of the Black Dalek which suggests that it is placed in command of only the very sensitive missions (and altering timelines is a very sensitive matter). There is no indication as to whether this Dalek is also a member of the Supreme Council (see below), or is one of several gold color schemes.
  • A Dalek is a kind of cybernetic creature that was discovered on the distnat planet Skaro. Apparently, they used to be similar in appearance to humans. But, as a result of repeated exposure to radiation as part of a grand "experiment" initiated by one of Skaro's greatest scientists, the people of Skaro slowly degenerated into squid-like bodies. They then transplanted themselves into mobile life support units that contained onboard computers, scanners and were equipped with a single death ray. The same scientists that developed these beings soon began calling the individual units "Daleks." However, the creatures turned on their creator and began taking over Skaro. Since then, the Daleks have been synonomous with chaos, destruction and terror.
