To the east it and shares maritime borders with Jiuzhou, Sihai and Shenzhou. In the northwest it shares maritime borders with the island Kingdom of Tianxia, from which it conquered most of the western continent from. Huaxia is also the overlord of Jiuzhou, Sihai and Shanzhou; forcing them to surrender base sovereignty in the face of the ferocity of the Huaxian Imperial Navy and threats of invasion. Originally formed when a hundred different bands of nomads by chance converged near where the capital is today, Huaxia grew into one of the largest and wealthiest empire on Patria, outclassed only by Britannia and Yamatai in both aspects. It maintains the largest known armed forces on Patria, but the country's sheer size and constant threat of rebellions in the northern territories causes it to be spread thin. This flaw caused it to lose control of it's westernmost territories during the First Yamato-Huaxian War, and the Raimei Rebellion. Despite these flaws, it maintains it's status as Marlakcor's dominant empire. On the western border with Yoake stands the Great Wall of Huaxia. This massive fortification of stone walls, fortresses and castles, which runs along the entire length of the Yamato-Huaxian border, was constructed in the wake of the First Yamato-Huaxian War to prevent any further expansion by the Yamato into the western half of the continent. It has so far fulfilled that purpose, save for very brief occupations of various fortresses at various periods throughout it's history. This wall far surpasses Zhonghuan wall, which was built for similar reasons against Huaxia.
