  • Primer is a Decepticon.
  • The Primer is a component in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
  • A primer was a component of an explosive. In 2268, to confuse Norman, Harry Mudd called for primer when assembling an imaginary explosive. (TOS: "I, Mudd" )
  • The primer is a small charge of impact-sensitive explosive that may be located at the center of the case head (centerfire ammunition) or at its rim (rimfire ammunition). When struck by a firing pin, it will detonate, setting off the propellant and firing the projectile.
  • Welcome to Nile Online! You find yourself situated along with other neighboring tribes and cities on the ancient Nile river. While the Nile provides access to Wheat, Clay and Reeds to all who live on it, there are many other resources only found in certain locations, including your own. Collectively you must sell or trade your local wares to others both up and down the Nile. Primer 3) When the Bakery is complete, click on it to assign laborers. Now build a Brickworks by clicking on an available plot in the city. 4) When the Brickworks completes, assign laborers to it.

Your city begins with a modest Palace, Clay Pit, Reed Marsh, Wheat Field, Luxury Material (e.g., gold) and a Market. You must build your city up by making bricks from clay and reeds, and feeding your workers with bread via a Bakery. Later, you will be able to expand to additional cities and even construct great monuments! Primer 1) Build a Bakery right away (click on an empty plot of land, denoted by fence posts, that allows the construction of a Bakery - the tooltip will say, "Available Shop plot"). Note that if you run out of bread, your city will be crippled until you're able to feed your laborers again! 2) Click on the Reed Marsh, located on the right hand side of the city next to the water. You'll now see the building UI where you can assign laborers. Allocate max laborers to reed production. Go back to your city by clicking the name of your city. Now, assign laborers to the Clay Pit and Wheat Field, just as you did with the Reed Marsh. When you are adding laborers, note the green numbers that appear on the bottom UI - they will update as you add or subtract laborers. Those numbers indicate the amount of that item that you are producing per hour. If it's red, that means you're losing that much of that material or good per hour. Make sure you're not losing too much if you think you're going to be away from the game for an extended period of time (like, say, when you're going to bed). If you run out of something needed (e.g., clay for bricks), then production will halt. 3) When the Bakery is complete, click on it to assign laborers. Now build a Brickworks by clicking on an available plot in the city. 4) When the Brickworks completes, assign laborers to it. 5) Now construct a Pottery Shop. When that finishes, build a Basket Shop. Assign some laborers to each. If you don't have enough available laborers yet, you may have to take some off other buildings or resources. Play around with it until you get a balance you're happy with. But you'll want to get enough baskets and pottery soon to upgrade your Palace. 6) When you have enough bricks, baskets and pottery to upgrade the Palace, click on the building and hit click on "Upgrade to Level 2". When the Palace has completed, your city will now be able to support more laborers and they will start arriving over time. So you'll soon have more laborers to use in assigning to your buildings. After this, try exploring the world a bit, and think about what resources and goods you want to specialize in. A large part of the gameplay is in interacting with other cities on the Nile - both via the Market and by trading directly with other players. Be sure to post any questions to the forum, where there are many helpful Pharaohs day and night. - Click on buildings and read the descriptions to find out what they do - Change your city name via the Palace - Click on the empty lot locations to learn what can go there. But ignore the Temple, Exchange and Barracks for now. You won't need to deal with these buildings until much later. - Upgrade your Market to expand its reach into more Nomes, and use it frequently to find what you need. It is what the Egyptians did - trade up and down the whole Nile for the best prices. - Look to the Market as a significant source of bread - you might find it more efficient to sell materials or goods for bread than make it yourself! - If you are short on bread, the easiest way to get some might be to sell something of value - don't always make it yourself. - At significant milestones your leadership enables you to specialize in an area of production. This might use more resources, but will produce faster with the same amount of laborers. As these abilities represent your leadership, to change them is expensive but not impossible - so, choose wisely! - You will need a warehouse on your third palace upgrade. If you hit the warehouse capacity limits, any extra goods or materials will be discarded. Biert s 12:52, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
