LeMay's other two races came in 1977, when he started the year back off at North Wilkesboro. Starting 17th in the field, LeMay struggled severely in the race, falling nearly one hundred and fifty laps down to finish 24th. Things weren't better at Bristol, finishing last (30th) after an early driveshaft issue.
