The Special Ops class units of Specter Team are the long-distance damage dealers, who also provide ammunition to their team-mates. They are usually armed with their iconic weapon, the Marksman.

- United States Marine Corps Captain Strongman Kyle Fearson is in a war in the jungle, after his Recon team is killed by over 250 trained jungle Militia and Russian Marine Corps and Special Forces.
- Badasses with a license to kill, a contract to kidnap, a permit to maim, and a registration class B to firebomb villagers. Rogues with a splash of monk, Spec Ops deal extra damage while sneaking and can use adrenaline to give them combat benefits.
- Special Ops (often abbreviated as "Spec Ops") is a single-player or co-op game mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. They are a set of fast-paced missions in the spirit of "Mile High Club" from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Originally meant to be the co-op portion of the story campaign, it was spun off into its own separate game mode as Special Ops. This also allowed the designers to add new levels that were interesting, or reuse existing levels with expanded or new objectives, without having to fit them into the singleplayer campaign's storyline, like the campaign missions. The missions can be played solo, split screen or online, with a few being two player exclusive (needing two players in order to play).
- Special Ops quests are received from Captain Langmar when you bring her the Encrypted Charr Battle Plans and decode them. Each set of Plans offers a different Special Ops quest. Each Quest awards some Vanguard reputation points
- Special Ops (Special Operators/Spec Ops) are a class type Medal of Honor (2010) and Medal of Honor: Warfighter multiplayer.
- Team missions are available in five difficulties:
* Medium Security (Lv 5-19)
* High Security (Lv 18+)
* Maximum Security (Lv 25+)
* Ultra-Max Security (Lv 30+)
* Double Agent (Lv 30+) Note: Double Agent availability is subject to Global timers. Solo missions are available in three difficulties:
* Adept (Lv 20-29)
* Advanced (Lv 30+)
* Expert (Lv 40+)
