In 38 BBY, Rhoden plotted to eliminate his wife, who he knew was having an affair with Buck, an eco-terrorist. His plan was kill her by sending her in an escape pod into the mining station and destroying it, then collecting insurance money by blaming the destruction on the Green Forge eco-terrorist group.

The plan failed, however, and Rhoden lost the mining facility soon after in a gambling match against Saul Moegantz.
