(1940?-) Designer and eventually president of the 1970s version of Moog Music. Luce is best known for leading the development of the Polymoog, although he also had a significant role in the Taurus and Memorymoog projects. Luce became the company's chief engineer in 1974 when Bob Moog departed, and was promoted to president in 1977 after the Norlin buyout. In that position, he led a group that tried to save the company after Norlin's liquidation in 1983, finally departing around 1985.
