  • The Priest is a variant of the Monk introduced in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms and returning from the first Age of Empires game. It is one of several returning units from the first game re-introduced in Age of Empires II, alongside others such as the Legionary and the Broad Swordsman. They are more or less a reskin of the Monk and behave just the same, being able to convert enemy units and heal friendly ones. A notable difference is that rather than the standard Monk chanting from Age of Empires II, they utilize the popular "Wololo" chanting from Age of Empires. They may not be built under normal circumstances but they appear in the scenario editor, as well as some campaign missions such as Estado da India. File:Aoe2 priest.png
