At higher levels, ammo reserves may be depleted rather quickly, thus it is recommended to swap it out for another weapon on the higher rounds, unless the user is able to easily buy more ammo off the wall, or intends to Pack-A-Punch.

The STG-44 is also used by the Umbrella Facist Group, however they were very limited on both rifles and ammunition, so they relied more on the MP40.
