Richard "Ricky" Evans (May 1, 1976 - April 22, 2004) was an American football running back best known for his time at the University of Tennessee, winning the Bosch Trophy in 1996 and leading the Volunteers to back-to-back SouthCo championships and 13-win seasons. At UT, Evans played on three teams that went a combined 35-4. He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 1997 Common Draft, being selected by the Vancouver Volcanoes. He played in Vancouver from 1997-2000, before being traded to the AFL Nashville Titans, where he helped lead the Titans to three straight playoff appearances including a berth in the 2001 AFL Championship. On April 22, 2004, Evans was killed in a car accident near downtown Nashville along with the other two passengers of his vehicle, one of whom was a Titans teammate. His
