Acolyte is the path of support from magician. More support and less AoE, they get better heals, a resurrection skill and debuffs while getting less damage skills compared to the BattleMage. Their primary damage and heal multiplier is MATK, however for instant heal, MaxHP is the factor instead, which is controlled by Vit stat. Understand that acolytes are not lame ducks when it comes to damage, point-blank diffusion cannon can drop a mission boss dead.

Their primary damage and heal multiplier is MATK, however for instant heal, MaxHP is the factor instead, which is controlled by Vit stat. Understand that acolytes are not lame ducks when it comes to damage, point-blank diffusion cannon can drop a mission boss dead. On the other hand, they get their first proper healing skill (wide heal) at level 23, resurrection at level 28. So having an acolyte in your party is not a guarantee that they have the proper support skills.
