Tarroc D'agor was the son of the wealthy engineer Kirol D'agor, who was one of the few humans to work on the original B-wing prototype several years before the Battle of Endor. Tarroc, then barely finished with his secondary education, decided to assist his father in his efforts and became familiar with the fighter himself. Aboard Home One at Endor, he was one of the few technicians qualified to repair the complex craft. After Endor, he was convinced to enroll in command school, but dropped out in order to so what he loved most - fly fighters. His natural leadership and uncanny sense of strategy earned him the notice of Admiral Ackbar, who elevated him to the rank of Commodore at the age of twenty-two and gave him a substantial command within New Republic Starfighter Operations.
