The African tree toad (Nectophryne afra), is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Cameroon Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria and possibly Central African Republic and Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
