Brother Torilis was the squirrel Infirmary Keeper of Redwall Abbey; his assistant was Sister Ficaria. Described as tall and saturnine, he was a no-nonsense type of elder, abiding by his own strict rules for manners. Quite stern, he put young ones such as Bisky and Dwink on the Abbot's Report for something as simple as a pillow fight in the middle of the night. Despite his personality, he was an excellent infirmary keeper and herbalist, well-experienced in problems such as rheumatism, loud snoring, and fractured limbs.

| - Brother Torilis was the squirrel Infirmary Keeper of Redwall Abbey; his assistant was Sister Ficaria. He only seemed happy upon rare occasions or if he had a patient. He was also a close friend of Abbot Glisam but wasn't afraid to speak out against him if it concerned "infirmary property", such as when an infirmary tray was smashed in order to find the Doomwyte jewels. After Glisam gave Abbotship to Perrit, Brother Torilis vowed to care for the wheelchair-confined Glisam.
