The AR30 was a spot model which does not appear in the Ibanez catalogs. AR30s were produced with either Black or Antique Violin (a.k.a. brown sunburst) finishes. It's believed that the total production run included around 1200 in Antique Violin and another 800 Black examples. The AR30 has a double cutaway Japanese ash body mated to a set-in maple neck with a rosewood fretboard with dot position markers. Components include Gibraltar bridge and Quik Change tail piece, dual Super 70's humbucking pickups with independent volume controls, dual tri-sound coil-tap switches, and a master tone control.
