  • Huntress Winterfalls was the original leader of the infiltration and espionage unit called The Fireflies during the Third War. Her experience with the Burning Legion before the Great Sundering was key in helping her teach many of the younger less experienced elves how to deal with demons and monsters that plagued Kalimdor. During the last battle beneath Nordrassil she was fatally wounded only moments before the energies with in World Tree obliterated Archimonde as many of the defending positions had become hopelessly over run. After her death the remainders of her unit renamed The Fireflies to Winter Knights in honor of her great leadership and memory.
