Strength
  • The Botanist possesses phenomenal superhuman strength rivaling the likes of the Zoologist, thanks to possessing the strength of the entire plant, algae, and fungi kingdoms, enabling him to lift over 100 tons under standard conditions. During the daytime, especially at noon when the sun is brightest and giving off the most energy, the Botanist’s strength grows exponentially, lifting well over 200 tons easily, while at night or in dark or cloudy conditions, he is exponentially weaker, able to lift only up to 50 tons at peak conditions.

  • *Created three offspring, Seed, Spore, and Pollen, as minions for his service
  • *Founded the Anti-Animal Alliance in a bid to destroy the Zoologist and his Pack
  • *Slaughtered the population of the country Throathis
  • *Began destroying plants, crops, etc. across the globe in a bid to kill off the animal kingdom, including humanity
  • Quickly seeking out Alan, he utilized his incredible powers to make mental contact with all the plants and vegetation on the entire planet to search for him. Eventually, he found Alan in Canada, and that he had a little lady friend, Ms. Chelsea Rose with him. Determined to make Alan lose everything, he commanded the vegetation surrounding their resting place to kidnap Chelsea and bring her to him. After succeeding in doing so, he telepathically contacted Alan and jeered him into returning to civilization for a final showdown. Alan, hesitant at first, realized he had no choice, with his loved one’s life in danger.
  • *Kidnapped the Zoologist's and Specia's children
  • *Killed the Veterinarian and later his Animal Men
  • A Menace for All Animal-Kind After the fight was over, Alan looked for Alexandria, who had seemingly disappeared. He found her, lying on the ground, dead. Alan was confused and tried to wake her up but no use. She was found to have a poisonous barb lodged in her throat. Phineas had killed her. Enraged, he left the temple and ran off into the wild, vowing never to return to humanity or civilization again. However, the tale of Professor Phineas P. Pines was far from over. In fact, it had just begun. Several decades passed as Pines’ body regenerated from the massive damage that had occurred, all the while Phineas’ consciousness plotting and planning, learning more about his powers and planning ways to destroy Alan once and for all. By the present day, his body was restored and the Professor was free.
  • *Animated all the plant life on Earth and battled against the Zoologist's animal kingdom
  • A Weed is Planted Later that day, a heavy storm began to batter the rainforest, and Phineas began to lead Alexandria away from Alan, who was busy observing birds. Alexandria wished to find Alan but Phineas assured her that Alan would be fine . Returning to camp, Alexandria and Phineas were unaware of where Alan was located, and after the storm was over, Alexandria was determined to find him. Phineas, however, led her astray by continuing his tour, assuring her they would probably run into Alan in the process. However, that changed when they stumbled upon a large temple. Asking Alexandria to wait outside, in case there was any danger, Phineas entered the temple. Inside, the room was vast, but empty, covered entirely in massive vines, all except for a lone podium that had a brilliant-looking green gem. Awed by its beauty and seemingly forced to touch it, a strange form of green radiation bombarded him, and he slowly began to transform. His body became green and plantlike and his body, mind, and spirit became one with the plant kingdom and he began to realize that he was to be king of the plants, and the king of the world. Insanity filled his every thought.
  • The Botanist has an insane jealously and hatred for the Zoologist, losing sight of his goals numerous times in the cause of destroying or ruining the Zoologist's life. He is also quite manic, and is a bit off-kilter in terms of rationality. He does have a soft spot for his "subjects", however, and will, like the Zoologist, defend them no matter what the cost. He has even teamed up with the Zoologist on several occasions, albeit reluctantly for both, in defending nature against criminals such as Timothy Cox and Princess Pollution. He has also shown a grudging respect for the Zoologist as well, sometimes secretly in awe of his powers and how seriously he takes his responsibility, especially after losing everything that he had in his old life, as well as respecting the Zoologist's decision to not kill him. His ultimate goal is to destroy Mother Nature and take her place as god of the natural universe in a bid to transform all life into plants and make the universe, in his mind, a better place.
  • The evil amalgamation of the jealous plant god Floros and the insane botanist Professor Phineas P. Pines, the Botanist is the Highest Prodigy on All Things Plant, master of all plants, fungi, and algae, and the Zoologist's greatest, baddest, and deadliest archnemesis. Possesses complete and total mastery over the entire plant, fungi, and algae kingdoms. Devoid of any morality towards humans or any animals, the Botanist stops at nothing in his attempts to destroy the Zoologist in any way, along with the entire animal kingdom. His ultimate goal is to destroy Mother Nature and take over all the natural world in order to make the universe a better place for all plants, fungi, and algae. He resides within the Greenhouse, an underground plant paradise with its own artificial sun and virtually every species of plant, fungi, and algae residing there. Leader and founder of the Anti-Animal Alliance, creator of the Animal Assassin, "father" of his "Seedlings", and member of the Dark Overlord's Minions of Malevolence.
  • However, the plant god, Floros, soon began to grow weary of constantly being forced to create what Mother Nature directed him to create and soon began plotting of rebellion. When he asked Faunos to join him in the rebellion, however, Faunos staunchly refused and subsequently told Mother Nature. Mother Nature, enraged, punished Floros by placing him on the moon. Floros then began plotting to take revenge on Faunos by commanding his “children” to attack any animal on sight. As they did as he commanded, many animals were killed, eventually causing the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs.
  • Personality/Character The Botanist is THE archnemesis of the Zoologist, being his most powerful enemy, having strong connections with the Zoologist's past, causing the greatest deal of personal pain, suffering, and anguish to the Zoologist, having the greatest personal grudge against him, and is his most recurring adversary. His crimes revolve around the plant kingdom, of course. Unlike the Zoologist, who values all life and will defend it no matter what the cost, the Botanist is an entity completely devoid of moral or compassion for nearly any form of life, other than his "subjects". However, he does possess one similarity: he will do almost ANYTHING to get what he wants, no matter what the cost, similarly to the Zoologist. He has demonstrated countless times his willingness to use his subjects to defend himself, even at the cost of their own lives. The Botanist, however, unlike the Zoologist, exudes an air of gentlemanly sophistication frequently. His mannerisms of very rigid, like a tree.
  • *Projected spores across the Earth that would be inhaled by all animals, transforming them into plants and making him master
  • Professor Phineas P. Pines, the Highest Prodigy of All Things Plant Many millions of years later, however, Professor Phineas P. Pines is born at the beginning of the 20th century. Born with a green thumb, Phineas developed a love for all plants, flowers, trees, vegetables, fungi, and algae and wished to learn everything he could about them. Reading everything about plants and the like, Phineas sometimes wished he was as handsome as a rose or as strong as a sequoia. However, his abusive father considered him a pathetic excuse for a son, and thought his love for flowers and nature was obscene. Shaking off his father’s words, as well as his beatings, he obtained doctorates in all fields of plant sciences and quickly became a respected member of the botanical community and a professor of botany, at Yale University. However, that was before being kicked out for his dangerous experiments in attempts to animate plants which damaged half the premises and killed over twenty students.
  • *Kill the animal kingdom to remove them and the Zoologist from his way to destroy Mother Nature and take over the natural world
  • The Botanist’s Plots *Transform the entire animal kingdom into plants in a bid to be master of all life
  • *Have the Zoologist join him in his quest to replace Mother Nature as god of nature
  • A wealthy individual but deep-rooted in an inferiority complex and a severe jealously streak, Phineas was constantly at odds with fellow scientist and renowned zoologist Dr. Alan Douglas, whom he had known since middle school. Completely jealous of Alan’s fame, wealth, and happiness, as well as completely consumed by hatred against animals, Phineas hated Alan with great intensity, which continued to grow for years. This reached a whole new level when he learned that his high school crush, Alexandria Dawson, was engaged to Alan. Pushed to the brink of insanity, Phineas was determined to make Alan suffer. Devising a plot to win Alexandria over and kill Alan in the process, Phineas offered Alan and Alexandria an all-expense paid study and vacation in the Amazon rainforest of South America. Thrilled by the offer, Alan and Alexandria accepted, much to Phineas’ pleasure. In the rainforest, Phineas began his tour of South America, determined to kill Alan in the process by losing him in the jungle.
