The RV470 was the only "RV" model produced. It's similar to the SV470, which has an S series shape. The V designation indicates the use of the Viper neck which is thicker and rounder than the typical Ibanez neck. The RV470 features an alder body with a gravure top bolted to a maple Viper neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez single-coil and a synchronized tremolo bridge with gold finish, a transparent pickguard and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
