| - In Los Angeles, a man is on fire and walks across the Hollywood hill singing happily. He wears the name tags Antoine Wolf and is loaded in a straight jacket. The world's population of humans is 10 million with and unknown number of supernaturally powered individuals.
Later, Antoine Wolf is locked up by local police with suspicions that he had supernatural powers. Wolf denies the allegations and is released.
As he walked out of the station, a precognition woman speaks strange words of an apocalypse to him.
On the trip home, Wolf spots a man who attempts to use telepathic powers to have a woman give him money. He stood the mean and tells him he's confident he's stronger. The man stands down.
Wolf arrives home and finds Simmons waiting for him. He asks him and he had to be set on fire. He's knocked out and taken away in the back of their vehicle.
Elsewhere, a woman stands amongst a bloody mess as police arrived to investigate.
At Hollywood Hills, the vehicle arrives at its location. In the trunk, Wolf speaks telepathically to someone about the money being worth being set on fire. The trunk opens and Wolf continues to give Simmons lip. He's brought to Sterling Gibson, who apologizes for setting him on fire. He says he needed to do so as he had to examine stock. Gibson admits he now believes Wolf truly is a clairvoyant. He hires him to solve a case and has Simmons walk him out.
Meanwhile, Officer Boyd drives the woman to the police Headquarters. The woman speaks telepathically to someone and undies her seat belt and jumps out of the car. The police slam on their breaks but when they get out of the vehicle, she's already gone.
Later at Wolf's apartment, Freddy Chtonic arrives. He asks for help as his rent had been raised 25%. They head to his apartment and burst into the landlord's abode. The landlord is revealed to be a vampire. When they learn he is Wolf, they instantly apologize and offer him a drink for helping Emery. He tells him the raise in rent is out of his hands. He'll have to speak with Frederick Azimuth about the change. A sudden scream alerts Wolf and he heads to check out the noise in the other room.
Later, Anita Christ knocks on Wolf's for and tells him she can see his friends.
