The Cetiosauridae family used to include a large assortment of various sauropods more primitive than the titanosaurs and diplodocoids. It now includes only Cetiosaurus and several of its closest relatives, with most of the other species being classified in other families such as Blikanasauridae, Melanorosauridae, Vulcanodontidae, and Omeisauridae. As sauropods, cetiosaurids are all Water Dinosaurs.
