I'm asking here because no one responded on the talk page for Force Grip, and this also affects the List of C-canon elements in the films article. Did Dooku really choke Obi-Wan in the Episode III duel, or did he just lift him into the air with the Force before throwing him against the wall (like the basic Force ability in the video game)? I don't own the movie yet and I haven't read the novelization, so he very well could have. But from what I remember in the movie, it didn't really seem that he was particularly choking Obi-Wan... and I don't remember hearing the sound effect that is used any time choking occurs. -BaronGrackle 19:03, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Can't remember what the novelization says, though. Darth Anarcus 20:29, 12 July 2006 (UTC) * I remember reading smewhere that Dooku, although very skilled, never truly understood the limitations of his power, or really mastered them completely. So it is possible that Dooku, while lifting Kenobi into the air, was force choking him wothout really trying. Just my say. BothanEliteHardCore * I agree Dooku was choking Obi-Wan due to Obi-Wan's hand action and facial expression. For novel, Dooku kicked Obi-Wan down the stair and used Force Push to blast him to the lower floor, no Force Grip / Choke / Crush at all. Darth Kevinmhk 05:01, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
