Among the founders of the HSB in the early years of the 5th century were the Purple Brotherhood (under their Archon Chaireddin de Valmore, also called "Chaireddin the Golden") and the Brotherhood of Peoples (led by the charismatic and enigmatic Ursus Goldmaske of Aerinn). At the height of it's power the HSB reached from the Mouth of the Green Sea in the Machairas of Karcanon to the river Bugand nearly in the center of the continent, including the realms of Rhespukoe, Antam, Am'y Syrren, Antalien, Buganda, Aerinn, Tuval, Thumgal, the entire peninsula Tharlan and all of the islands in the Green Sea.
