Richard Milhous Nixon (born: January 9, 1913), who is commonly reffered to simply as Richard Nixon, or by his nickname: "Dick", is an american politician who served as the 35th President of the United States, serving from 1961 to 1977. He was previously Vice President from 1953 to 1961 under President Eisenhower. Under Nixon's terms, the United States successfully defeated the Communist Forces in Indochina, made peace with the Soviet Union, and launched the first man to space. He is often said to be the best president of the United States, so much in fact, that in 1968, Congress repealed the 22nd Amendment and allowed Nixon to run for a third and even fourth term.

Nixon retired to the Southwest Commonwealth in 1977, and remained there until his departure into Vault 21 in 2012.
