- Jimmy and Sandy run into a roadblock in their effort to re-open the Balboa Lighthouse restaurant when some investors withdraw their funds and it's revealed they they were Jimmy's former business clients whom he lost all of their money. Meanwhile, Summer and Seth take it upon themselves to finally make Marissa feel more at home at Jimmy's apartment. Things take another when when Caleb makes a marriage proposal to Julie, which sparks anger and a feeling of betrayal for Luke who gets behind the wheel of his car and has a near-fatal accident. Also, Marissa, and Sandy and Jimmy each strike deals with Caleb in which he forces Marissa to live with him and Julie after they are married in exchange for helping Jimmy and Sandy with their business adventure.
- The Proposal is the thirty-fifth book in the Animorphs series, authored by K.A. Applegate. It is known to have been ghostwritten by Jeffrey Zuehlke. It is narrated by Marco.

Andrew, of course, vehemently tries to back out of the plan but she insists that they will be married for a short while and then get a divorce. Seizing the opportunity, Andrew makes her promise to publish his book and promote him before agreeing to the charade.
- The Proposal is a 2009 romantic comedy movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. Directed by Anne Fletcher and written by Peter Chiarelli, the film is set in Sitka, Alaska. The film was produced by Mandeville Films and released on June 19, 2009, in North America by Touchstone Pictures.
