In that year, Captains Benjamin Sisko and Jean-Luc Picard took the Zambesi to the planet B'Leva in the Badlands, for a planned rendezvous with Klingon Chancellor Gowron. However, the meeting was a ruse, and the Zambesi was shot down by a Klingon Kirva-class shuttlepod, and crashed on the planet. (TNG - Slings and Arrows eBook: Enterprises of Great Pitch and Moment)
