Goromil was a wealthy goldsmith of Minas Anor.Obsessed with returning back the original wealth of his family from the ruins of Osgiliath, he became deeply involved with the illegal business of the smugglers and tomb-robbers of the province Anórien. Goromil was a widower, and all his children had left his home. His two daughters were married to other goldsmiths and his only son had run away to join the rebels of Vinitharya. Goromil rarely met any of his henchmen face to face, but instead used his trusted servant Harmandil to carry messenges and plunder to and from his house. Goromil was tall and fairly slim with thinning gray hair. He dressed in a simple, old-fashioned manner and seeked to present himself as a conservative Dúnadan gentleman.
