Theodosius I Augustus (Iberian: Flavius Valerius Theodosius Augustus; Greek: Φλάβιος Βαλέριος Θεοδόσιος Αύγουστος; 439- 18 January 504) also known as Theodosius the Elder was Eastern Iberian Emperor from 488 to 504. His nearly twenty year reign was spent overseeing political and military reforms aimed at aiding the Eastern Iberian Empire's faltering sister empire, the Western Iberian Empire. He was the first Eastern Emperor to legislate in Greek rather than the traditional Iberian.
