Aries Black (Japanese: 黒白羊宮 Kuro Hakuyoukyuu) is one of the two deuteragonists of Pokémon: Dreams and Adventures; serving a major, important role alongside his brothers, Michael and Shane Summers. Much like his brothers and rivals, Aries debuts as a Pokémon Trainer from Pallet Town in Kanto. He starts off his journey with the same interest in Pokémon as Michael and Shane, albeit with a different goal in mind than theirs. As a promising young trainer, Aries dreams of becoming an accomplished Pokémon Breeder, and so he has decided to embark out on a journey throughout the world as well, in the hopes of seeing as many Pokémon as he can and learning how to properly raise the best ones. In the meantime, he has sometimes chosen to engage in battles against Michael and Shane during their collect

One way Aries has supported his brothers is by using the Pokédex to gather data on Pokémon for Professor Oak, who gave out the Pokédexes to the three boys for just such a reason. Another example of Aries' helpfulness is in his opposition of the criminal group, Team Rocket, whose existence threatens both people and Pokémon alike. Likewise like his brothers, little else is known about Aries at the moment, as the author has chosen to withhold more important information that will be revealed in later chapters for the sake of reader suspense.
