  • In the mirror universe, Khegh, son of Taahp was a Klingon male in the service of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance during the 24th century. In 2376, he was the planetary governor of the Alliance world Lru-Irr. He oversaw the medical research taking place into the planet's native Irriol, which was being conducted by Doctors Jaza Najem and Shenti Yisec Eres Ree. Jaza believed his jovial manner masked a ruthless manipulator while his hedonism contained a strong sadistic streak. Khegh's throne-like seat in the main hall of his headquarters was flanked by several slave women who wore collars and chains. He had an exotic taste in slaves and traded two Deltans for an Elaysian named Melora Pazlar, whom he kept in a clear-walled tank of ice cold water given that she would be crushed by her own weight in normal gravity as she belonged to a low gravity species. Ree told the governor that he failed to see the point of playing with a creature which one did not intend to eat. Khegh offered to give the Elaysian to Ree when he was finished with her. However, Ree declined, claiming that she was "too bony" and that he preferred prey who could run. (TTN - Mirror Universe short story: "Empathy")
