__NOWYSIWYG__ I noticed that many of the articles that are in the vehicles category often are in either the equipment or weapons category also. Due to recent edits by both Fruipit and me, I was wondering how well these other categories actually apply. For example, I made the claim that the earthbending-powered tank should be considered a weapon, since the waterbending-powered subs were, and in both cases objects were shot from the vehicle using bending. So, when Fruipit (I believe rightfully) undid my adding of the weapons category because the tank is not an actual weapon, I deleted that category from the submarine article as well. However, with this logic it does seem that battleships should also not be considered weapons because they are not the actual weapon, firebenders, and earthbende

As far as equipment, I think that most of the vehicles in this category should probably not be there, since you do not really "equip" the vehicle (one rides on it, it is not on someone). Although, there are exceptions, for instance the Mecha tank and perhaps the biplane would belong here. Ziryerx (wall • contribs) 04:09, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
