The swamps of Pereplut in Ebbing lie near the Great Sea, at the junction of Velda, Lete and Arete rivers. It is there that Vysogota of Corvo, the noted scholar, fled when he was pursued. He eventually created a hermitage there. Later, Ciri also spent time at the hermitage after she escaped from Leo Bonhart.
