  • The Christian Federalist Party in its current incarnation was founded in the year 2514 but did not compete in elections until the following year. The party has stood for free market capitalism, Christian morality, and the principle of federalism in government (hence the Federalist name). The party's fortunes have ebbed and flowed throughout the years although the CFP has always managed to be one of the larger parties in Valruzia. The Christian Federalist Party existed briefly before 2514, but it collapsed due to internal friction between its more capitalist and Christian elements. Party insiders refer to this period whenever internal dissension arises to warn against letting internal disputes get out of hand. Currently, J.P. Moreland and N.T. Wright lead the party, uniting both a strong Christian commitment with the other aspects of CFP's political philosophy. Alan Greenspan and Mitt Romney are leaders of the secular faction in the party that is more concerned with preserving free market principles in Valruzia than in legislating morality.
