Patricia Ludmuller formerly known as Patrick Stephenson is the murder victim in The He in the She. Patrick had been a televangelist of the "hellfire and damnation" variety, but had a crisis of conscience/faith and secretly underwent a sex change in Thailand, abandoning his ministry and family. Patricia resurfaced in Chesapeake Bay, becoming the pastor of Inclusion Church, a religious community which welcomed LGBT, ex-prisoners, recovering addicts and essentially all those whom Patrick had railed against in his broadcasts. For a number of years, Patricia appears to have brought great hope and solace to her flock, but when JP Gratton fell in love with her, his ex-wife couldn't handle it, and deliberately ran Patricia down repeatedly with a motorboat, killing her.
