The Masoan Space Agency (MSA) is an agency of the Masoan government responsible for the nation's public space program. The MSA was established in 1961 as an avenue for the Masoan government to perform space research. However, the MSA did not launch anything into space until 1973, when it launched a small, primitive satellite. Its motto is de astris intellegentia et pulchritudo veniunt, Latin for 'From the stars come knowledge and beauty'. File:Stub.png This article is a stub. Help the Cyber Nations Wiki by expanding it. • The Masoan Space Agency (MSA) is an agency of the Masoan government responsible for the nation's public space program. The MSA was established in 1961 as an avenue for the Masoan government to perform space research. However, the MSA did not launch anything into space until 1973, when it launched a small, primitive satellite. Since 1992, the MSA has proved itself to be among the best space agencies in the world, when President Mechzec gave a huge cash injection to the agency, raising its budget from $500,000 to $1.5 billion. With this extra money, the MSA upgraded everything, and has since been actively launching satellites and probes, with its budget steadily increasing over the years. In 2000, the MSA began a new branch dealing with aeronautics. Since 2001, the MSA has maintained a healthy relationship with the CSIRO, NASA and the ESA, often sharing research, although all four are known to be fiercely competitive. In early 2005, Donald Seegam announced as the new administrator that the MSA was to begin on a new program, entitled the Mars Exploration Mission, in which the MSA would send a variety of vehicles to Mars using the new ELV, the Ulysses I. So far, only MEM-0 and MEM-1 have been launched (in 2007), the first an orbiter, and the second the jewel in the MSA's crown, the Mars Glaciological Survey Rover (MGSR), a rover designed to search for underground ice deposits under Elysium Planitia. The MEM project has cost so far in excess of $6 billion. Its motto is de astris intellegentia et pulchritudo veniunt, Latin for 'From the stars come knowledge and beauty'.
