Kano Mura was the home of the Kano family, who were a vassal family of the Yasuki. It was a relatively large village just outside Yasuki Yashiki. Kano Mura was the third home the Kano family inhabited after leaving Yasuki's first palace to found their line and then leaving the lands near the Doji to live among the Crab. The artisan family decorated their houses in a way that would shock any visitor to the village. The location of the keep was kept in secrecy, so that any war against the Crane would not result in their reclaiming the family. It was eventually renamed as Shiro Kano.
