Jo Howard (? - October 21, 2011) was a BBC line-producer who worked on Red Dwarf. In 2009 Howard moved to the Dave channel where she continued to work on Red Dwarf, which had also since moved from the BBC to the Dave channel. Howard was the first assistant director for Doug Naylor on the three-part mini-series Back to Earth, which marked Red Dwarf's first appearance on the Dave channel. Howard also appeared in the "making-of" documentary for the Back to Earth DVD.

The Series X opening episode Trojan was dedicated to Howard's memory.
