| - Hi all. As I outlined here, MicroWiki is now holding elections for new administrators. Per a previous blog discussion, we're going to elect the following:
* 1 new bureaucrat

| - Hi all. As I outlined here, MicroWiki is now holding elections for new administrators. Per a previous blog discussion, we're going to elect the following:
* 1 new bureaucrat
* 2 new administrators Before we hold the election, though, we need to determine who the nominees are. In order to make this a smoother process, we're going to do nominations before we start voting. Let's first go over the criteria for nominations. To be nominated for administrator or bureaucrat, a user must meet the following criteria:
* A nominee must have a registered account (IPs cannot be made admins)
* A nominee must have at least 50 edits on this wiki
* A nominee must be a positive, productive, and active member of this wiki. This is a philosophical concept more than anything else, since whether someone fully meets this particular point will be decided based on whether people vote for them. We will now begin the nominating process. If there is someone you believe should be nominated for bureaucrat or administrator, please list their name below. Please only list someone's name once (if you want to nominate User A but User A has already been nominated, please do not list their name again). Please note that you are allowed to nominate yourself. If, at the end of the nominating period, there are nominees that do not meet the above criteria, their name will be removed. The nominating period will last until the end of this Sunday, and I will post the election itself on Monday. I look forward to seeing the nominees! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 20:09, February 8, 2013 (UTC)
