His parents died of cancer when he was a little child, while his sister fled with her boyfriend and left him behind. Feeling a rage towards his sister, he became a dark person. He was later betrayed by everonye man and woman he ever trusted, causing him to become a very dark person with a lot of rage. Several years later, when John and Luna already made their moves, he made his, destroying a whole village, and begun to fight John and Luna. When he realized that they were his equal, he chose to corrupt John by making him see illusions of Luna betraying him for a man he hated. Though he wasn't able to control John directly he was able to corrupt John in such a way, that the latter fled the headquarter, went into a forest, where he was attacked by forces from Scar. Although John was able to kill the hitmen, he fled back to the headquarter, where he after he was healed again suffered from extreme illusions and paranoia. After he was confronted by Luna, John reacted cold and harsh, telling her that he hated her. She begun to observe John and saw how he had heavy nightmares to the point, she slept in the same room. After weeks of torture, Sebastian found a cure, and confronted the man that corrupted John so much. Who was a hitman with the ability to corrupt others thoughts. Sebastian tortures the hitman and forces him to tell how to break the curse. After learning that the hitman has to die, Sebastian kills him instantly, freeing John from the curse. Scar makes one last appearence when he desperetly tries to fight the rebels, by using bombs, chemical weapons and again John against them. John is overwhelmed by the similiaties between him and Scar and suffered in pain, till Sebastian told him to recall good memories, his intentions, the one thing that made the different. After being freed, John brutally killed Scar for causing so much deaths. After Scars death, John apologizes to his teammates and to Luna in private. Stating that she knew that he never meant any word and that he was controlled, Luna forgives him completely and the two continue their fight against Iscariot.
