Volgsmarks were the currency of the Volgan Republic of Asia. It used the period mark as the thousands delimiter (for instance, the bounty on Bill Savage was 150.000 volgsmarks). In 1999 the exchange rate in occupied Great Britain was roughly £3.33 to one Volgsmark (so that Savage's 150.000 volgsmark bounty was equivalent to £500,000).
