The Chickenhawk is a rare enemy that only appears in one location in Mother 3.5 during the first chapter. It is actually the Pigmask Army's first chimera, but you won't see it unless you explore very carefully. You have to carefully sneak up on it from behind, otherwise it will fly away. It gives a lot of experience points when defeated. Although the chickenhawk is a real-world creature, the chimera encountered is a hawk with the head of a chicken, a reference to the common "Slitherhen" chimera in Mother 3.

He was asked if he wanted to serve in Vietnam. Recently Ron Paul called Gingrinch a Chickenhawk.

He was asked if he wanted to serve in Vietnam. 1. * Here was his chance to show his superiors that he was brave. 2. * Here was his chance to show that he was a good airman. 3. * Here was his chance to get respect and recognition, combat experience and perhaps promotion. What did Dubya do? He wrote, "do not volunteer". Now that says it. Of course sending other people’s sons into combat in Iraq (after 9/11) was a different matter. Recently Ron Paul called Gingrinch a Chickenhawk.
