- Bunnelby first appeared in Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin! where it was used by Clemont in his battle against Ash and Pikachu. Bunnelby was shown to be a strong battler, easily dominating the first part of the battle until it made the mistake of clamping Pikachu's tail with its ears.
- Magnemite is Clemont's Pokémon who served as a patrol to the Gym while the Clembot was in control of it. After Clemont greeted it upon his return, it pretended to be happy but then attacked him with Thunder Shock. It continued attacking until Froakie's Frubbles put a stop to it.
- Clemont temporarily used Frogadier to help recreate the Prison Bottle after it shattered. After Frogadier evolved into Greninja, Clemont commanded it again to attack Jarvis' Gengar.
- Dedenne was caught by Clemont upon Bonnie's request as she wanted to take care of it and take it as her own Pokémon when she is ready to debut as a Trainer.
- Chespin first appeared in A Battle of Aerial Mobility! under the ownership of Professor Sycamore as a Starter Pokémon for new trainers. It has been shown to be a gluttonous Pokémon.
- Clemont knew Luxio from the time he was a Shinx and had been friends ever since. However, when Clemont was forced to leave for a ceremonial dinner on the day of his graduation, Shinx was left all alone. He later reunited with Clemont and during his absence, he evolved into a Luxio. Since Clemont's absence, he lost his trust towards him and believed that Clemont abandoned him. However, after Clemont defended him from Team Rocket, Luxio regained his trust and decided to travel with him from now on. During a battle against Team Rocket at the Kalos Power Plant, it evolved into Luxray.
- When the gang were accidently separated from each other after an attack from a trio of angry Pangoro, Clemont temporarily used Braixen, along with Pikachu, to find the rest of the group.
- Clemont temporary tried to ride a Skiddo but it shook him off its back.

- Magneton is another of Clemont's Pokémon who served as a patrol to the Gym while the Clembot was in control of it. After attacking the group with Metal Sound, Fennekin battled it. It easily dodged Fennekin's Ember by temporarily separating itself into three Magnemite but was stopped by Froakie's Frubbles.
- Clemont lent Heliolisk to the Clembot while he was away. When Clemont returned and challenged the Clembot for ownership of the gym, the Clembot used it to battle. Heliolisk lost to Bunnelby.
- Clemont temporarily rode on a Mamoswine, along with Bonnie, to cross the snowy mountains and through the Frost Cavern.
- When Ash and the others were kidnapped by the three evil Malamar who plot to destroy the world, Clemont, along with James and Meowth, temporarily used a group of Malamar who are good and gentle in a desperate attempt to rescue everyone from danger.
