During his trip to June 13, 1931, Marty McFly decided against entering as he didn't want to stay at a place that welcomed transients. Upon returning later that year on August 25, Doc Brown hid out here to keep away from Irving "Kid" Tannen and his gang. Marty showed up several times to consult Doc for information. Arthur stayed with Doc briefly prior to going to El Kid to speak with Trixie Trotter. The place was still in business as of October 13 of that year, but was replaced by the Bluebird Motel by 1955, which in turn was closed by 1985.
